Virginia Bombay “Ginny” passed on 1/12/17 at 10:30 am after battling cancer, she was 14 years old.  Ginny is survived by her ‘little buddy’ of 14 years, Ollie (Shih Tzu) and frenemy Moses (Tabby).  She has left behind many heartbroken humans, chief among them are Mike, Tara and Kira.

Ginny was found as a puppy, discarded behind a dumpster in Virginia.  Relocated to New Hampshire, she encountered Mike, who was certain that, rambunctiousness aside, there was a truly great soul behind those eyes.  He brought her home and, as her wild Labrador youth passed, what emerged was one of the sweetest dogs with which the world has ever been blessed.

Such a delicate and caring soul, Ginny loved nothing more than to cheer those around her with her kisses, and would silently admonish anyone raising their voice by leaving the room.  She loved to cuddle and any mention of her being a ‘pretty girl’ was noted with a wag of the tail. She did have a tough side, and would not hesitate to standup vocally against the evils in her world (UPS, FedEx, USPS and the Plow Guy).

Her hobbies included, being petted, taking walks, eating, playing in the snow and chasing chipmunks.  Ginny will be remembered by all that met her as a beautiful, tender and loving creature and none who were lucky enough to spend time with her walked away untouched.
