Moses passed away peacefully on 4/3/18 at 11:20.  His age, always in dispute, was approximately 20.  Moses is survived by his frenemy and sparring partner Ollie (Shih Tzu) and his humans Kira, Tara and Mike, to whom his loss will be felt for many years to come.

Abandoned and starving on Munjoy Hill in Portland, Moses found his way to a home filled with love, cuddles and cat food.  (He famously eschewed commercial pet food later in life, becoming a vocal proponent of a natural, whole food diet.)

Moses was a loving companion, responding with an easy purr to a pet or nuzzle.  He appreciated a heated blanket, a spot in the sun, and a few pinches of catnip.  His hobbies included playing with “toys” snatched away from their owners in the dark of night, snuggling with his humans and taunting the dogs (although a small cat, Moses could nonetheless fight many classes above his weight).

While Moses is terribly missed, his loved ones take comfort in knowing he continues to silently judge them from the great beyond.   Love you Mo Boy!
